A graduate of the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, California, he holds official certification as an Associate Raw Foods Chef and Instructor. He has been blessed with an amazing array of mentors, including Cherie Soria, Elaina Love, Angela Kasmala-Newsom, Tiziana Alipo Tamborra, and Cosmo Meens.
Honing his culinary skills at organic establishments like The Karmic Café and Jivamuktea Café, he has offered his unique creations to posh dinner parties, private clientele, and the world-famous Raw Spirit Festivals. As Head Raw Food Chef at the award-winning Café La Vie in Santa Cruz, California, Jason highlighted the amazing local produce from Northern California’s central coast, taking innovative simplicity to new heights while challenging palates and generating gustatory bliss.
In late 2007, Jason started a business venture in Los Angeles called Mint Creativity, providing personal chefing, event catering, nutritional counseling, and café consultation as well as product line development and menu planning. Building on the company’s budding success, he is launching a newly branded series of products, including instructional DVDs in 2010, showcasing simple, elegant, easy raw recipes for the masses. His brand new website, JasonWrobel.com, is also debuting in 2010, showcasing a variety of online raw food demos, live videos, and his new television series!
