It's extremely refreshing to see that scientists and doctors are finally starting to go back to natural remedies and looking to nature to help improve the quality of people's lives; it's time to see how we do without so much unnecessary prescriptions for every ailment.

reat interview! I did not know that there was so much to mushrooms.I am very inspired. I am sooo going to look into Paul’s books,websites etc. Paul knows so much.

You don't need it in Maui. Just go collect some mycelia from the rain forest -say in Nahiku, and add it to wet cardboard and-presto! Plant the trees you want around it like cacao, mango, and strawberry guava. Are you familiar with Mycelium Running? Have you studied the art of creating edible food forests? You live in wonderland! I love Maui! Aloha

I had a couple of wonderful experiences eating amanita muscaria. Not death-like at all. Enhanced colours. Enhanced insights. You must dry them & powder them & make a tea & strain it. I ate them w/o doing this the 1st time & threw up before I had a terrific experience.

I just listened to the wonderful Paul Stamets session you offered. Thank you so much. My 7 year-old grandson, Chase Engelmann, was excitedly relating all the things he had learned about mushrooms in a special school presenation only three days ago. His school is celebrating it's 25th anniversary and I am forwarding this information to the founder for her condsideration as additional material. The Life Boxes are perfect for Santa Lucia School (Templeton, CA). There are only 50 kids in the school (grades 1-8) and 5 rural acres to explore. Our families all moved here when it became time for Chase to begin school. I see the mushroom expert at our Farmer's Market. I will now become a member of whatever fungi society is available to me in this area. My sincere thanks. I'll be 70 on March 21st. I keep learning wonderful things. This certainly ranks high on that list. My very best to you and please thank Paul also.
